What is the difference between the local student CIC part-time course
(CIC-PT) and the local student CIC full-time (CIC-FT) course?

The most significant difference is the amount of practical training provided. With the CIC-PT, we include 80 hours. However, the CIC-FT we include upwards of 136 hours. Also, with CIC-PT you must provide your own dog and the course is undertaken over a 6 month part-time period. With the CIC-FT we provide you with a min of 5 dogs to train at the Blue Cross Animal Shelter and the training is intensive over 6 weeks. Furthermore, the contact hours are far greater in the CIC-FT than the CIC-PT as the program is run with Overseas Students who are in Australia for a limited amount of time.
